Pet expo (and what to do for the SUMMER expo) – We will have a lot of pet style fun going on and also info on what you can do during the hot summer months when the market takes a break. Learn about where you can still get fresh produce over the summer, fun things for your kids to do while out of school and a lot of fun indoor activities that will keep you cool and busy!

Fifteen thousand people in need pack into Chase Field in downtown Phoenix to receive everything from free dental exams to haircuts to groceries to tax return preparation. Two thousand volunteers gathered to serve from across the community.

Performers with styles ranging from folk and bluegrass to cowboy poetry and storytelling will entertain thousands of people at the two-day Folk & Heritage Festival. This festival includes family entertainment, historic Sahuaro Ranch site tours, blacksmith demonstrations and children’s music and activity area. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. Admission and most activities are free.

The Parade starts at 10 a.m. and the route is 3rd Street South from Sheridan to Moreland.

The Faire follows immediately after the parade at Margaret T. Hance Park.

Its purpose is to preserve and enhance the heritage and traditions of the Irish Culture as well as share that culture with the citizens of Arizona. This year will be the 27th Anniversary. The Parade has marching bands, Irish step dancers, bagpipers, police and fire vehicles, government dignitaries, floats, the 2011 Arizona Irish Colleen with her court and a whole lot more.
